ABOUT Bryan
Bryan is the current Oxnard Mayor Pro Tem and has served on this City Council since 2008. Prior to serving on the council, he was the Assistant Police Chief for the City of Oxnard and an Adjunct Professor for the Criminal Justice Program at Ventura College.

Bryan is very active in the community, spending his time volunteering with many organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme and the Gold Coast Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
​
He is consistently dedicated to improving the quality of life for all in Oxnard. While serving the city, he has helped facilitate a budget surplus, infrastructure improvements and access to affordable housing. His passion for Oxnard has helped the City be named the 13th happiest city to live in California, and 32nd in the United States.
